The town of Wymondham is full of medieval buildings including a 12th Century Abbey.  It is famous for being linked to Robert Kett who led the peasants’ revolt in 1549.

As you would expect from a market town, Wymondham is full of independent shops, cafes and restaurants, as well as two large national supermarket chains.  The town has great links to London via the A11 and is only just over 8 miles from Norwich City centre which can be accessed easily via car, bus or train.

There are a number of housing developments in Wymondham, including, Elm Farm (Persimmon Homes), Birch Gate (Bovis Homes), and William’s Park (Lovell Homes).  Close to the A11, these developments are perfect for those who want a short commute into the city, university or hospital.
