When you rent a property from Melanie Estates, you can be safe in the knowledge that the property that you are moving into will meet all requirements under UK Law – we ensure that we are always up to date with the very latest legislation regarding private renting.
The property will meet all gas and electrical standards and you will receive copies of safety check reports when your tenancy starts. In addition, you should receive an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) which states the energy performance rating of the property – any privately rented property must have an energy performance rating of least ‘E’ or above.

24-hour peace of mind
When renting a property from Melanie Estates, if anything should go wrong – such as electrical issues, breakdown of the heating etc. - you can rest easy knowing that you can call our 24-hour hotline and we’ll get someone round to fix it.
You will, however, be responsible for minor repairs, such as changing light bulbs and fixing any damage caused by you or someone who visits you.
